Lee Levingston Perine is a Washington, DC-based creative, curator and connector who is doing big things! He’s the founder of Makers Lab, an arts collective, which creates zero proof spaces that celebrate life, art and LGBTQ culture. The Lab’s latest project is Black in Space which celebrates the artistry, diversity and resilience of Black LGBTQ+ communities through media storytelling and technology. When he is not in space, he spends time with family and friends, and is a Sylvester aficionado - convincing everyone that Sylvester is the greatest artist of all time.

Trevor Jackson is a Native New Yorker who has been in the Washington, DC for over 30 years. He is a Financial Program Manager with the Department of Homeland Security. Trevor has worked at Catholic Charities and FEMA as a Financial Disaster Case Manager coordinating Second Response efforts for Federally declared natural and man-made disasters. He holds degrees from Howard University and George Washington University in Finance.

Trevor is a part-time Photographer, Graphics Artist and is panelist on ‘In The Groove”, a weekly webseries which discusses music from the viewpoints of the host and 5 panelists.

As a gay black man Trevor believes he can serve as a bridge to unite and help Gay POC and Transgender POC to understand we- are stronger together.

Lee has over 20 years of experience working with community based organizations seeking gender, racial, ability, and economic justice. They are a co-founder of the Maryland Trans Resilience Conference, serve on Montgomery County's LGBTQ Advisory Group, led the coalition with Trans Maryland to pass Maryland's ID bill adding X gender markers and self-attestation to MVA identification documents, served on the Montgomery County Executive's transition team, lead Trans Maryland's name change program, and have facilitated Trans 101 trainings for both government, non-profit, and private entities.

Stephanie Myles

Stephanie Myles is a graduate of The University of Memphis with a BBA in International Business and an MBA candidate at Harvard Business School. She was born and raised in Memphis, TN. After her undergraduate studies, she relocated to Washington, DC, a place she describes as her ‘adoptive’ city because it is where she found a queer support system and chosen family. She began her career at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) Headquarters in DC.

 

As a young professional, Stephanie received several promotions at USPS and worked in various capacities throughout the organization, including roles in International Postal Affairs, Strategic Planning and Business Analytics, and International Operations, as well as supporting roles in Global Expedited Commercial Contracts, International Accounting, and Global Sales. Stephanie concluded her career as an International Operations Specialist, overseeing the service performance of the premium $353M global shipping product EMS (Express Mail Service).

 

Stephanie serves as Co-Chair of the PRIDE Club’s DEI Committee at Harvard Business School. After graduation, she plans to advocate for LGBTQ+ and marginalized BBIPOC communities through social and racial justice enterprises via worker-owned cooperatives, solidarity economics and workplace democracy.
